Getting assistance from a psychotherapist is a smart, proactive way to combat depression, anxiety, addiction, and other challenges. Dealing with your struggles in the safe environment provided at Chevalier Psychotherapy will help improve your emotional wellbeing, your relationships, your professional experiences, and may even extend to other areas of your life.

For Adults

For Tweens

(Ages 10 – 14)

Is your tween experiencing feelings of being down, beat-up, picked on, frustrated, or like they can’t cope with much of anything? Are they struggling with feelings of loneliness? Are they isolating themselves from their friends and family? What about issues surrounding their difficulties of coping with stressors in their lives?

These behaviours are common in tweens. However, when these problems go unaddressed, they may turn into bigger issues in adulthood, and evolve into behavioural patterns that are more and more difficult to reverse. However, by addressing these challenges now, your child will have the opportunity to grow up healthier and happier; able to face their futures with confidence and skill.

At Chevalier Psychotherapy, tweens learn to move beyond their challenges, develop strategies for resilience, and move forward both empowered and mentally healthy. Noorayne Chevalier provides a safe and stress-free environment, and you can rest easy with her years of experience helping tweens face the unique struggles of their age group.

For Children

(Ages 6 – 9)

Has your child been going through a hard time? Have they been disruptive at school? Distant or removed at home? Or generally just behaving differently?

At Chevalier Psychotherapy, I provide safe, accessible, child-based practices that help your child thrive again. Using empirically-based strategies, your child will begin thinking positively about their future and see the world through a new and more focused lens.

Through the proven practices used at Chevalier Psychotherapy, children gain the ability to change their actions, improve their behaviours, and create better outcomes. The skills learned at Chevalier Psychotherapy will stay with your youngster all throughout their childhood, their teen years, and even shape positive behavioural patterns that last into adulthood.

As the schema goes: our thinking, determines our feelings, our choices and then our actions and outcomes.

For Children

Traditional Psychotherapy

Traditional or “face-to-face” psychotherapy is when you pre-schedule an appointment and then you physically come into the office. This is how the majority of clients come for psychotherapy.
